I would like to see an article on the subject of conversion to or exploring Sikhism. I am an American, born and raised, with a Christian background. While I have no issue with my Christian upbringing, I have been exploring Sikhism as a faith. I would like to know where to go from here. What steps could be taken for persons like myself who have developed a deep interest in Sikhism? Should I begin with the local Gurdwara? What steps have some others taken in the past if they were not born into Sikhism?
