I would like to respond to
"Am I Dispassionate?"
(Fri March 15).
My first reaction was that you were not validating. That people
get conned and taken advantage of all the time and that we should
just get over it. After giving that impression, you go further to
invite us to join you in the Sikh fold. I felt like I was back in
a class by Yogi Bhajan, telling us to get past our limitations and
rise to the call of destiny.
I thought to myself, this guy doesn't get it. He is trying to save
souls and he has his own agenda. Your letter disturbed me and I
wasn't going to respond, I said this guy will never understand,
he is one of the good old boys, up in the corporate ladder, looking
down at the losers and saying a few choice words which he considers
inspiring.
Your attitude that even though Yogi Bhajan may be a con man, he
has done some good because he has brought people to Sikh Dharma,
that his students look and act the part of Khalsa. Well welcome
to the fold of those manipulated and conned by Yogi Bhajan.
Please read from the testimony
of Swaran Singh regarding Yogi Bhajan, manipulating and getting
out of a law suit by Premka, his former secretary:
"#9. Sardar Harbhajan Singh Khalsa Yogiji stated that he believed
if these lawsuits would be filed by these two woman (Premka and
Kate), it would be harmful to Sikh religion, and he asked Pritham
Singh to prevent the suit from being filed."
The important catch phrase is harmful to Sikh religion.
Yogi Bhajan used this concept to prevent Premka's lawsuit. His image
was protected because of the notion that Sikhism would suffer. You
have entered into the world of those deceived and conned and manipulated
by Yogi Bhajan. What is the difference between this concept and
your concept of acceptance of Yogi Bhajan because he has done some
good. You have joined us, I mean, all of us who where taken in,
by Yogi Bhajan.
I think you do not realize how corrupt, hurtful and evil Yogi Bhajan
is. If you knew the facts, you would be more understanding and less
pretentious. Wake up from your illusion of 3HO. The image of good
Sikh men and women. They are in a cult trance and are being manipulated
by a charismatic narcissist cult leader, Yogi Bhajan. They are not
what they appear to be and they do not even know it themselves.
I say to you, even though, one may look the part of a Khalsa, if
they are manipulated into it, and have lost their freedom of choice
through a cult, the means does not justify the end.
Look within yourself, and see what it is, the image of these devoted
3HO Sikhs that inspires you to the point to accept injustice. Educate
yourself about the truth of 3HO. I have posted
some things that willyour eyes: Spiritual Experience and
new to X3HO, Yogi Bhajan the Narcissist and The money Trail (How
Yogi Bhajan is about the money).
X3HO person of 25+ years,
Satatlast
P.S. It doesn't matter how educated, sincere, street smart you
are, in the hands of a powerful manipulator we all fall victim and
exploited. In your case accepting an illusion and supporting those
being exploited. To you and your readers I say, continue educating
yourself on the facts of 3HO and cults. There are laws to protect
people from acts of violence, murder and theft but there are no
laws for the injustices inflicted on the mind of those who find
themselves in a cult.
