O
my senses,
soak in the beauty of every flower,
appreciate every tree.
Wonder at the play of light and color,
the song of the birds,
the sound of wind through foliage,
the crash of the waves,
the roar of the river,
the babble of each brook you discover.
The lovely scents,
and interesting textures,
O my senses, revel in life.
O my heart,up and rejoice.
Eating together with family and friends,
petting the cat,
wrestling with the dog,
watching children play,
hearing them laugh,
humming them silly tunes,
telling them inspiring stories.
O my heart soak in the beauty,
of every gift given to you,
by the Creator/Creation,
the abundant IK ONG KAR.
O my mind,
receive the gift of awareness
of GOD
inside and out.
Observe and feel GOD's reality all around you;
this life is such an amazing movie,
such a lucid dream,
filled with wonders all around.
GOD, the Giver,
is producing and directing the whole Universe,
everything comes from GOD.
O my mind,
you are a gift of GOD as well;
you are GOD's audience!
Awaken from the sleep of self-center ness
and ego-fixation,
and embrace your true purpose with joyful creativity.
See GOD everywhere, O my mind.
Oh my body,
every life has some uncomfortable moments
of true challenge and growth
yet the ability to experience beauty and joy
in every other moment,
free of compulsions and worries,
and to even, beyond that, experience
a transcendent joy and beauty
within
life's painful, repulsive, sour and bitter experiences,
this potential is always right HERE, my fearful body.
O my body,
sing praise to the great Creator/Creation,
night and day.
