One beautiful day
a beautiful baby girl was born.
She was blessed with wonderful parents
who gave her a wonderful childhood.
The girl received a great education
and she developed great skills
and she married a great guy
and she had a terrific career.
This terrific woman had two marvelous children.
After many marvelous years of life,
this peaceful woman
died a very peaceful death.
She had such a beautiful,
wonderful, great, marvelous,
terrific, peaceful life.

O GOD, why do we seek such a reality?
What is so great about a whole story that can be told in one boring paragraph?
Why do we resist the obvious?
We did not come to this planet to have such a life!
This is not a Prozac Resort Vacation Solar System, truly!
We are on Earth to establish humanity on Earth.
The fact that people act like Baboons
instead of being fully human,
creates real conflict and challenges, no fooling!

Were we born to have an easy life?
Or were we born to fulfill a wildly inspiring purpose?

People are screaming out in pain and suffering,
praying to GOD.
GOD looks out over the ocean of humanity;
who can GOD send to do Her Will?
Who can GOD use to transmit His comfort and healing?

"I give myself into the service of the Divine Love-Light."
"God, use me this day."
"May it all be for the liberation of all beings"
"God's Will be done through me."
"Great Spirit, we are your children."
"I invoke the spirits of the Light."

GOD loves Her devotees.

We live in a Free Will Zone of the Universe.
Allah cannot help you unless you ask Him to.
Even the faeries and the little people
need to be asked
before they can busy themselves on our behalf.
Angels wouldn't dream of being anything but perfect servants.
They await our orders.
Jesus said that we have to knock before the door.
The tree spirits hide unless begged to sing.
The Siri Guru Granth is silent in our lives
unless we read and follow Guru's guidance.
In every religion the Divine must be asked, invoked, welcomed,
and obeyed,
before the Divine enters human lives.

GOD needs volunteers.
GOD can't promise us
peaceful, terrific, great, marvelous, wonderful, beautiful lives;
free of effort.
GOD gives us GOD
when we consecrate our lives to be used by the Divine each day.
Having GOD makes all the difference.
With GOD using us,
we become fearless of death,
and our lives have profound meaning and purpose.

Suddenly even the smallest moments
deserve a whole paragraph of their very own,
at the very least.
And life is never boring again.

And then you have to wonder, who wants a one-paragraph life?
