USA, Wilmington -- Country singer Charlie Daniels' latest release "This Ain't No Rag, its A Flag" though banned on some stations is still on the air and currently is Nashville Radio's most requested song.

Earlier today Mr. Daniels defended the lyrics "This aint no rag its the American flag and we don't wear it on our head," calling the song 'patriotic'.

The city of Wilmington today inducted Charlie Daniels into the Walk of Fame. Wilmington's Walk of Fame is promoted by Celebrate Wilmington!, a joint partnership between the community, the Arts Council of the Lower Cape Fear and the University of North Carolina at Wilmington to celebrate the arts.
