Our growing diversity as a nation is a great blessing, a many-sided brilliance, a rich tapestry of ideas, ideals, gifts, talents, dreams and visions that must be recognized, appreciated and celebrated. Our media, institutions and leaders can help us build bridges of understanding about our ethnic, cultural and faith communities. They are our fellow Americans and they have much to contribute to our strengths and greatness as a nation.

Ethnicity does not need to be reactive, it can be visionary and in the forefront of building this nation.
