I have been an avid reader of Kamalla Rose Kaur's articles on Sikhe.com and enjoy them. I read "Lapis, carnelian and jade" (Feb. 18) and some of the other online material about Kamalla Rose Kaur's days at 3HO.

I had heard about Yogi Bhajan before but never cared to know much about 3HO and the details about what went on in the Ashrams or Yogi Bhajan's teachings. Just thought he taught Yoga with Sikhi.

I was born in a Gursikh family in India and was taught to always follow Sri Guru Granth Sahib as the true Guru. We were always cautioned to never trust or care for any self proclaimed "Guru" or so called "Yogi's" who stole the words and teachings from Sri Guru Granth Sahib and made a fool of innocent people in the name of God and religion. I was shocked to read some of the gruesome details about how innocent girls were allegedly raped in the name of spiritual enlightenment; how people were treated as personal servants and that a lot of wrong and misguiding information was given in the name of salvation and religion.

In Sukhmani Sahib, 5th Nanak Guru Arjan Dev ji writes in the Ashtapadee 13 about what happens to someone who hurts his saints starting:

"Sant ke dukhan aarja khgate....."

I feel all the innocent people who followed Yogi Bhajan for spiritual guidance were 'Sants' because their hearts were pure with devotion and respect.

"Sant ke dokhi ko daan lageh" - The slanderer of the Saint shall be punished.
