Dear T. Sher Singh,
After I cross a stream in a forest I can then turn around and tell
you where the pit falls and slippery rocks are that I found along
the way.
While in 3HO, during my young and formative years, I was told one
thing and lead to believe another. I, for one, welcome the opportunity
to learn that there is a difference between "Bhajanism"
and "Sikhism".
I choose "Sikhism" any day over "Bhajanism".
I want to thank all of the Sikhs who came by my house and told
me to take Yogi Bhajan's photo off of my altar and invited me to
attend their Gurudwara. I wasn't very thankful at the time, actually
I was rude and asked them to leave. But, they were right. They invited
me into a wonderful life where I wasn't expected to bow and touch
a self-proclaimed master's feet. It was expected of me to only bow
to Siri Guru Granth Sahib.
It is not the intention of this
forum to slander anyone. It is the intention to understand that
there is a difference, and to not judge Sikhi by the experiences
we had in Yogi Bhajan's Organizations. It is the intention to let
those who walked with and among us to know that they didn't do anything
wrong and that the environment that we grew up in was co-dependent
and dysfunctional and that they have "Graduated" from
the School of Yogi Bhajan and are welcome to continue their graduate
studies of our beloved Guru Nanak, free of politics, free of politicians
and, hopefully, free of people who only seek to further their own
good by walking on the backs of others.
There is so much more to Sikhi than what Yogi Bhajan has to offer.
That, is our message.
Waheguru ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji Ki Fateh,
Gurubir Singh

Against 3HO Unwarranted',
