RAAG DHANAASAREE, THIRD MEHL,
FOURTH HOUSE:
ONE UNIVERSAL CREATOR GOD. BY THE GRACE OF THE TRUE GURU:
I am just a poor beggar of Yours; You
are Your Own Master, You are the Great Giver. Be Merciful, and bless
me, a humble beggar, with Your Name, so that I may forever remain
imbued with Your Love. || 1 ||
I too am one small monkey from a small planet and a small galaxy
in a BIG
universe. Compared with Infinite Creator/Creation I am nothing to
speak of.
But I can call out to GOD, just as well as any other sentient being;
if I
remember and bother to do it that is! Please Creator/Creation I
too wish to
be forever imbued with awareness of You.
I am a sacrifice to Your Name, O GOD.
The ONE is the Cause of causes; there is no other at all. || 1 ||
Caught halfway between the vastness of the space between atoms,
and the
vastness of the space between galaxies, life as we know it is just
one small
aspect of life as GOD knows it. The Creator/Creation is ONE ultimate
reality;
so huge that it is no wonder that we humans forget to calculate
GOD into the
equation of our lives. GOD is simply more than we can fathom, so
we don't
even try. We simply don't compute.
Pause || I was wretched; I wandered through
so many cycles of
reincarnation. Now, GOD, please bless me with Your Grace. Be merciful,
and
grant me the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan; please grant me such
a gift. ||
2 ||
What is the purpose of being born as just one female from a particularly
destructive species of monkey, on such an outback planet, hanging
in space,
if I can not see some greater purpose? Grant me the Blessed Vision
of Your
Darshan!
Prays Nanak, the shutters of doubt have
beend wide; by Guru's Grace, I have come to know the ONE.
I am filled to overflowing with true love; my mind is pleased and
appeased by the True Guru. || 3 || 1 || 9 ||
Ah yes.....thank you, my Guru. You keep everything in perspective
for me.
